I was sitting in Peets Coffee waiting for my friends to join me for weekly coffee when the notification came in from OkCupid… “akemp liked your photo”. My Prince Charming photo… My “one of two times a year I dress up” photo… I had to know more. I looked at her profile, her eyes were captivating, and her smile was amazing… I sent her a message, beating her to sending me one 😏

That was all it took, we messaged a few more times before she said we should meet in person to see if this would go anywhere. I asked to meet her the next day, and she said yes…
