October 29th, 2017 — Drinks, Disney, and Dialog

We met for drinks at Piatti’s in La Jolla Shores. She was early, and I was late 😅

We got old fashioneds, and proceeded to talk… and talk… and talk…

It was the night of the longest World Series game in history (to that point), and we outlasted the game.

We talked about work, about cars catching on fire in garages, about shared love of all things Disney. About everything. There was laughter, smiles, and eye contact. We never stood a chance.
